MA Social Anthropology and Politics
I have been passionate about journalism and writing for several years, and joined The London Review for the opportunity to write longer-form pieces. For the past three years, I have been heavily involved with the University of Edinburgh's student newspaper, The Student, as both a writer and editor in politics and current affairs.
I am now in my fourth and final year of my MA (Hons) in Social Anthropology and Politics. Public policy has always interested me, particularly global health, as it brings together both my degree subjects perfectly. I have just returned from an exchange year in Copenhagen, Denmark, which shifted my writing focus toward European politics and international relations.
Looking ahead I hope to focus my research at TLR on public policy, particularly healthcare and education. After graduating I am interested in entering the civil service or public sector in order to operationalise these academic interests.
